Bakuto (バクト) was a prisoner at Orochimaru's Southern Hideout.

Background

He had been a prisoner for the longest time and thus felt very close to his fellow inmates.[1]

Appearance

Bakuto had shoulder-length black hair and dark eyes. He wore the standard attire of the inmates at the southern hideout.

Itachi Pursuit Arc

Having heard the rumours of Orochimaru's demise at the hands of Sasuke Uchiha, he was freed by Suigetsu on the condition that he spread word of Orochimaru's defeat. Which he readily agreed to.

Trivia

  • Bakuto (博徒) were itinerant gamblers in Japan from the 1700s to the mid-20th century. They were one of the forerunners of the modern Japanese crime gangs known as Yakuza.
