Deidara creates a giant bird of clay, and then rides on top of him and flies rapidly toward the enemy, and releases several smaller birds of clay, who fly to the ground and triggering a series of explosions toward the enemy.

Instead, they both dive  towards the enemy, one picking the enemy up as they soar into the air. They then collide with each other and the enemy simultaneously and the two explode on Deidara's signal as he comments "Art is a flash of beauty".
