Aoi Rokusho (緑青あおい, Rokusho Aoi) is a Jonin from Amegakure, and Missing-nin from Konohagakure in the Naruto series.
Aoi (あおい) means blue/green, and Rokusho (緑青) means copper rust.
Part I
Before the Land of Tea
A former instructor in Konoha, he convinced Idate Morino to steal the legendary lightning chakra sword called the Blade of the Thunder Spirit which once belonged to the Second Hokage and a forbidden scroll. Idate was fooled into believing this could grant him advancement to Chunin. Aoi played Idate for a fool and used the Genin to do his dirty work. Once the sword was in his hand, he fled the country with Idate who was ashamed of his actions and they were heading to Amegakure. When Ibiki Morino and two ANBU Black Ops members caught up to them, Aoi had the ANBU Black Ops members killed and Ibiki ended up captured by the Rain Ninjas where Aoi tortured him to read the scroll. Idate escaped under Ibiki's advice as Aoi attacked Ibiki. Though Ibiki escaped, Aoi managed to become a Jonin of the Hidden Rain Village.
Land of Tea
Aoi and Team Oboro were hired by Kirouku Wagarashi of the Wagarashi clan to prevent Idate from winning the Todoroki Shrine race and make sure Fukusuke Hikyakuya wins the race. If Idate were to lose, Jirocho Wasabi and the Wasabi clan would no longer control the Land of Tea Country. When Team 7 was hired to protect Idate, they were able to confront Aoi and the three Rain Genin of Oboro, Kagari and Mubi. Aoi dodged Sasuke Uchiha's Chidori and briefly belittle him as being the weakest Uchiha member before striking and knocking him out with the sword. But Naruto Uzumaki was able to strike Aoi with a Rasengan (which also managed to break the Blade of the Thunder Spirit), and send the ninja flying off a cliff into the water and rocks below. Seeing as he wasn't shown hitting the water or slowing down, it is unknown if he survived the fall or not.
