  • Team 10 visiting an Amaguriama shop.
  • Some of the various sweets at the shop.

Amaguriama (甘栗甘; Literally meaning "Sweet Chestnut Sweetness") is a popular sweet shop in Konohagakure located on Konoha Tea Avenue, specialising in chestnut candies, such as chestnut jellies and jams, and roasted-chestnuts. The shop serves many other sweets like dango, mame-daifuku, manjū, and sweet bean paste.

Amaguriama has two shops in Konoha: one in Tea Avenue and one located in the Hot Springs District.[1] The first shop allows customers to eat outside, while the second shop allows them to eat outside or inside. Asuma Sarutobi treated Team 10 to the first shop before he left to nominate them for the Chūnin Exams, and the second shop appears when Jiraiya goes there to chat with women.

In the Menma Arc, Naruto Uzumaki took Menma to the first Amaguriama shop in hopes of trying to restore Menma's lost memories by having him look at some of the sweets from the other countries that was on display, such as the "Sand Dumpling" (砂団子, Suna Dango; English TV "Sand Dango") from the Land of Wind, the"Kirin Nectar" (麒麟蜜, Kirin Mitsu; English TV "Unicorn Nectar") from the Land of Water and the "Rock Rice Cake" (岩餅, Iwa Mochi; English TV "Rock Mochi") from the Land of Earth.[2]

In the Hoshigakure Arc, Naruto also bribes Tsunade with a rare treat from the Amaguriama to go on the mission to Hoshigakure with Neji, Lee, and Tenten.

Other Media Edit

The Amaguriama also made an appearance in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3, where the player can spend time with many of the female Naruto characters, such as Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyūga, Tenten, Temari, Anko Mitarashi, Hanabi Hyūga, and Shizune while they eat dango. Amaguriama also appears in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 where the player can buy bento as usual in food courts.
