"A Hole in the Heart: The Other Jinchūriki" (心の穴　もう一人の人柱力, Kokoro no Ana — Mō Hitori no Jinchūriki) is episode 318 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Summary

Gyūki notifies B who had stopped for yet another bathroom break that Naruto was far ahead of them, to the beast's exasperation Motoi catches up to B and informed them that he had been sent to assist them. As they proceed towards the battlefield, a small faction of the White Zetsu Army nearby plotted an ambush on the duo. Kabuto Yakushi who had also located B decided to enable another one of his special war potentials in order to capture Killer B. As the coffin emerges from underground — comically uncovering the White Zetsu in the process — the contents of the coffin is revealed to be Blue B, the previous jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails. As the two parties converse, Blue B advises them that he was not in control of his body and that they needed to escape but B notes that without Gyūki, he did not pose as much a threat as he would have. Blue B, however, enters Version 2, shocking B and Motoi. It is then revealed that it was Orochimaru's experiments and actions which brought about Blue B's death and Gyūki's rampage some thirty years prior. As the two men fight in their respective Version 2 states, it is revealed that Orochimaru had infiltrated Kumogakure, drugged Blue B, and extracted Gyūki who launched into a mindless rampage in order to collect some of the beast's cells. Ultimately, with some help from Motoi, Killer B is able to convey his feelings to Blue B who is glad to know that B had found something to fill the void left by being a jinchūriki. As his body deconstructed, Blue B ordered B to end the war. With this, B rushed towards the battlefield noting that his war had just begun.

[[Kabuto]] notice too that Naruto and B are approaching, he was told not to mess with Naruto, but nothing was said about B, with the intentions to conduct [[Orochimaru]]'s experiments on him, Kabuto takes another pawn from his bag and summons in the battlefield near B and Motoi a [[Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation|reincarnated]] [[Fukai]]. <section end=summary />Motoi remembers [[Motoi's Father|his father]]'s death, thinking it was Fukai's fault. Fukai senses the Eight-Tails' [[chakra]] within B, Fukai remembers when he was alive, talking with [[A]] about being a [[jinchūriki]], how the [[Tailed Beast]] takes advantage from a weakened heart, Fukai explained A that in order to be compatible with a tailed beast, the jinchūriki must fill his hole in the heart. Fukai tells B that he can't control himself and tells them to run away, Fukai quickly gets in a jinchūriki form for B's surprise. Kabuto reveals that Orochimaru's laboratory was full of interesting things remembering the hidden laboratory where Orochimaru kept the Eight-Tails' horn. Fukai attacks Bee with a [[Tailed Beast Ball]], B enters in his [[Killer B's Jinchūriki Forms#Version 2|jinchūriki form]], fighting each other, the Eight-Tails questions Fukai how he got his chakra and reveals that he had big expectations towards Fukai, Fukai reveals that in the past they were fooled by Orochimaru with some sort of [[genjutsu]], that later unleashed the Eight-Tails, that's when A cuts the Eight-Tails's horn and Orochimaru takes a sample from it. B and Fukai continue fighting, inspired by his father, Motoi attacks Fukai with his [[Lightning Release: Spider Web]], Fukai resists it and strikes back Motoi that losses his senses, B goes in Motoi's rescue, creating a bond with Fukai, where they remember their shared past, B reveals that he has a lot of special people around him and Fukai is one of them, filling Fukai's heart hole, Fukai finally found peace and disappeared. B tries to take Motoi to the medical corps, Motoi says he his well, and asks Bee to follow Fukai's wishes, Bee agrees to follow Fukai's wishes and runs to get Naruto.
