Determined to bring Sasuke back to his senses and to Konoha, Naruto grabs hold of him and punches him. He makes Sasuke spit out blood with his punch, then Sasuke grabs Naruto by his shirt and easily punches Naruto several metres backwards with the power of his [[Cursed Seal]], obviously inflicting much more pain than Naruto's punch. Naruto runs of to attack him but is inferior to Sasuke's new physical abilities, stealing his bag of weapons and ninja tools at the same time. Naruto creates some [[shadow clone]]s, and tries at which are easily defeated by Sasuke. Naruto tries using force again, and throwing [[shuriken]], but is easily caught in a trap by [[wire strings]] and left vulnerable. Seemingly defenseless, Sasuke ignites the wire with flames cold-heartedly and scorches Naruto with a burst of fire.
