This unnamed man was Hamura's right-hand-man. He hailed from the Main family of the Ōtsutsuki clan. He lived long enough to give valuable information about the Tenseigan, the Energy Vessel, and the history about the Ōtsutsuki clan to Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyūga shortly before his death.
Background
During his lifetime, he witnessed the true power of the Tenseigan and the Energy Vessel in what was one of the deadliest battles in the past. He was also a one of the few survivors of a civil war that almost eradicated the Main Family.
Personality
He was very dutiful and very loyal to Hamura. Due to his very old age, he had vast range of knowledge about his clan and its treasures.
Appearance
Like all of Hamura Ōtsutsuki's descendants, his eyes were sealed within the Energy Vessel for the Tenseigan. In his younger days, he wore a white ceremonial kimono with blue and orange lines in its sleeves, and a white sash tied over his right shoulder along with shinobi sandals.
He also had pale skin and long auburn hair, a moustache, and goatee.
Abilities
While his abilities as shinobi were not known, he was at least capable of sharing his vision with anyone he seemed worthy to see what he experienced in the past. He was also a keen sensor, and can detect those around him — especially who have the Byakugan.
Part II
Blank Period
The Last: Naruto the Movie
He first appeared after being detected by Hinata in a catacomb beneath a temple in an ancient ruin of the Ōtsutsuki's "Ninja City". He shared a vision of the past about the Energy Vessel and Tenseigan, that makes Hinata lose consciousness after seeing their tremendous powers. His last words before he died and turned into dust was that the "Byakugan Princess" must stop the Tenseigan from reviving.
Later, he reappeared with the rest of deceased clansmen and told of the fall of the Main family of the Ōtsutsuki clan and Toneri — the last surviving member from the Branch family which was influenced by twisted and misinterpreted version of Hamura's Celestial Decree. He later bowed down when Hamura's soul appears along with other clansmen and discussed how she, as the "Byakugan Princess", was the only one capable of destroying the Tenseigan altar, which was being used to control the moon by his descendant Toneri after misinterpreting his will.
