If you watch carefully (both the anime and the manga) the horns of the Giant Ram, as you call it, are just like the horns of a Bull: pointed forward. A ram's horns are pointed backwards in an arc movement and then towards the front again. Look at the two pictures I left on the talk page of the Giant Ram. Ask other people if you like, but that is a Bull, a Taurus, a male Cattle... however you like to call it. Furthermore a ram's horns start one next to the other and then split as they go backwards. A bull's horns are parallel (just like Pain's summon). Please look carefully ignoring the natural tendency, of any human being, to be the one who's right. Thanks :) PS: I am being so persistent on this because I want everything on this wiki to be 100% accurate and hopefully it will one day be. - [[User:MadaraU|MadaraU]] ([[User talk:MadaraU|talk]]) 13:15, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

The third databook has this to say about the matter:
[There are] two dōjutsu that only those who have activated the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Heavenly Eyes that can see without obstruction the principles of all Creation, are permitted to use: the Amaterasu that denotes the "Light of the Material World" and the Tsukuyomi that symbolises the "Darkness of the Spiritual World". Dwelling only in those who have grasped both [these dōjutsu] is the power of a tempestuous god... That is the Susanoo.
